The Rosa ‘Claire Austin’ (Ausprior) is one of the most beloved English roses by David Austin. This creamy white beauty opens with elegant buds that develop into flat rosettes with as many as 120 petals per flower. Its appearance is classic and timeless, adding a touch of romance to any garden.

What makes it so special is the rich scent: a refined myrrh fragrance with subtle hints of vanilla and heliotrope. This combination makes ‘Claire Austin’ a true scent experience in the garden.

The growth habit is versatile: it can be used as a shrub rose 120–150 cm tall, or as a small climbing rose that can reach up to 2.5 meters along a pergola, rose arch, or wall. The healthy, medium-green leaves form a beautiful contrast with the creamy white flowers.

At Belle Epoque Roses we supply ‘Claire Austin’ directly from our nursery. For only €23.85 you receive a strong, healthy plant that blooms richly for years and fills your garden with scent and beauty.

Large shrub rose (1 - 1.5 m); Small climbing rose (2 - 3 m)

Roses in pots

A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.

Roses with bare roots

Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.

At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.

Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
