The Scented Whisper®, also known in France as Martin des Senteurs® (variety name Adabaluc), is an exceptional Floribunda rose now available exclusively at Belle Epoque – both as a cut flower and as a plant for the garden.
What makes this rose so special is its enchanting scent. The flowers are richly fragrant, with a fruity blend and a hint of fresh lemon. Even in rain, this fragrance remains beautifully intact – a rare trait that sets Scented Whisper® apart from many other roses.
The flowers, rosette-shaped and soft yellow to apricot in colour, have a diameter of about 8 cm and appear in clusters. With 22–26 petals, they form an airy, elegant whole that continues to bloom from May until the first frost.
The bushy plant grows compactly and evenly, reaching a height of 70–110 cm and a width of about 60 cm. Thanks to its excellent disease resistance and strong growth habit, Scented Whisper® is not only beautiful but also reliable and easy to care for.

Roses in pots

This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
