Eustacia Vye® (Ausegdon) is one of the most enchanting English roses by David Austin, inspired by the iconic character from Return of the Native by Thomas Hardy. This romantic shrub rose combines literary grace with natural beauty and is an absolute eye-catcher in any garden.
The apricot-pink flowers open in a shallow cup shape with an abundance of petals, which gently change shade as they mature. The red-tinged stems add an extra touch of colour and contrast. Each flower is a small work of art that continually captivates.
Besides its beauty, Eustacia Vye® enriches the garden with an intense, fruity scent that stimulates the senses and attracts bees and butterflies. Thanks to its good resistance to wind and diseases, this rose is also ideal for gardens in open or windy locations.
With its bushy, healthy growth and a height of about 1.4 metres, this rose is perfect for borders, rose beds, or as a solitary centrepiece. It also does very well in a spacious pot on the terrace. The repeat-flowering trait ensures a long blooming period from early summer well into autumn.

Roses in pots
A potted rose is a rose plant that has already been grown in a pot and is delivered with a well-developed root system. These roses are ready to be planted directly in the garden or in a larger pot, without having to wait for root growth. This makes the potted rose ideal for planting throughout the year, especially from May through October.
Roses with bare roots
Bare-root roses – also called root roses – are rose plants delivered without a pot or soil. These roses are dormant and can be planted directly in open ground. The best time to plant a root rose is in autumn or early spring, when the soil is still moist and the temperature mild.
At Belle Epoque we supply bare-root roses from November through April. Thanks to the well-developed root system and the right planting conditions, these roses grow vigorously into healthy and bloom-rich bushes or climbing roses.
Products are shipped directly from the nursery every Monday and Wednesday. By delivering only twice a week, we reduce logistical emissions and optimise our processes. This benefits both the quality of our products and the climate.
